Description: The colour is youthful, clean, medium to full bright cherry red, with some violet tones still showing through. On the nose there is a surprising concentration of fresh, crisp fruit, which mingles with hints of pastry and spices from the oak. On the palate it is elegant, well structured, with ripe silky tannins, balanced by the noticeable acidity of this vintage. The palate starts brightly, and develops into a soft fullness, with a finish full of notes of cherry and ripe red fruits. This is a wine which is drinking well now, but its structure and acidity will ensure that it will age well.
